Pro arguments
Works acceptably in western countries
Maybe it is not perfect, but I have not seen a better and a more equal system throughout history.
Con arguments
Only one half happy
If a government or some proposal is chosen because 51% voted for it, you will have 49% of the population (or group) that is not happy with the result.
